Motivating Mondays
Monday starts the week. I find it useful to have a positive focus at the beginning of the week. Hence, every week, let's start the week with some positive, inspirational thoughts.

I recently did this painting entitled, ‘Voyage of Discovery’.
I find the above quote of Marcel Proust very inspiring.
I think each day in life is akin to a voyage of discovery. Life is filled with ups and downs. Things happen, circumstances are sometimes unfavourable. But how we react and handle each situation is up to us. Having new eyes is like changing the perspective. Changing the perspective changes the mindset.
A ship sails to many harbours in favourable or unfavourable conditions. The same applies to life. We are the captains of our own ship. We steer it in the direction that we wish.
In order to steer the ship where we want it to go, it is important to take a deeper we look within ourselves. The more closely we connect with our spirit, the better will be our chosen direction.
