I grew up in India. My mother's garden was full of flowers. There were many varieties of roses, jasmine, daisies, bougainvillea, hibiscus and others. I have beautiful memories of the cool evening breeze that would waft the fragrance of jasmine in our verandah and courtyard.

That memory of those elegant, fragrant flowers is the reason that I have planted many varieties of perennials and annuals in my garden. I
