The Story Behind
I grew up in India. My mother's garden had beautiful rose bushes, jasmine plants, chrysanthemums, petunias, marigolds, dahlias and a variety of other flowers. The Bougainvillea vine adorned the entrance gate of her house. The colourful presence of these flowers and their fragrance created an amazingly pleasant and positive atmosphere. These are the memories that inspired me to create this painting. I feel that even though these are not real flowers, their presence in your living space is bound to create positive atmosphere. Why, because flowers emit their beauty and fragrance selflessly. They don't discriminate on the basis of colour, sex or religion. They are there for the one who admires them. Today, it is you.
