I grew up in India - a place where the beauty of fresh flowers is heavenly all year round. My mother's garden had beautiful rose bushes, jasmine plants, night queen, oleander, bougainvillea and irises of different sorts. On a summer evening sitting in the garden I could admire the beauty of these flowers. The whole place would be filled with the fragrance of jasmine and night queen, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
I am drawn to the beauty of flowers. But that's not all. The flowers have many lessons to teach us. They give of their beauty and fragrance freely and selflessly, making our lives happy.
