The story Behind

I grew up in India. Crows have a special place in Indian mythology. The story of Ramayana, an epic in India, was first narrated by a crow, Kak Bhushundi ( a saint cursed to be a crow).

Crows are considered an intermediary between this world and the spirit world. People associate their presence with that of ancestors. Hence, feeding crows is considered good.

Crows perform very important functions of keeping us healthy by eating insects & feeding on dead carcasses so that diseases don't spread. Crows are smart enough to recognize faces and react to them.

Crows are very intelligent, smart, and social creatures. Crows are believed to develop their own dialect in order to distinguish themselves from other groups of crows.
