These soft lace patterns bring me back to my childhood days when my mother taught me how to crochet. She used to make beautiful laces. I used these lace patterns to create a series of mugs entitled, 'Mother's Love' as a tribute to all mothers. The soft pastel colours and delicate patterns symbolize how mothers are there in imperceptible ways in our lives regardless of age. They are the quiet force that nourishes our souls.
