Colours Came Next

I wanted this painting to be a mix of figurative and abstract elements. Once the line drawing was done, I chose some calming colours - pale hues of blue, green and yellow. These were applied in layers. Gradually I added texture and added some abstract elements.

Buddha radiates spirituality, beauty and well being for all. Hence, I added some brightness to his face with touches of yellow and gold as the final step. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. What does this communicate to you?
