The Story Behind
This is a framed painting inspired by nature. One of my favourite things to do is to sit at the edge of the water and look at the reflections. I feel inspired by what I see. To me they are not just reflections of objects or buildings. In fact, they are reflections of life. The objects, buildings, and Nature are all interconnected.
Creating abstract art is a lot of fun and yet quite challenging. Given that as an artist, I have the freedom and luxury to choose the colours, shapes and lines, it is important to have balance and harmony of colours, and shapes. The lights, darks and forms all must come together to create a harmonious painting.
I love the way the colours are juxtaposed and the wavering, shimmering reflections caused by the forms.
